Bioinspired Chemistry | Scientist Biohybrid Materials

Dr. Melanie Iwanow joined Fraunhofer IGB, Straubing branch in 2014 for an internship, followed by master thesis in 2015 and PhD thesis between 2015 and 2019 in cooperation with the University of Regensburg. As a PhD student, she worked on the preparation of supported metal catalyst by developing a new method based on deep eutectic solvents. In 2019 she started to work in the innovation field Bioinspired Chemistry as a scientist and has been leading the activities in the area of biohybrid materials there since 2021.
