Events and Trade Fairs

IFAT is the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management and will take place in Munich this year from May 13 to 17. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft will be represented with a joint booth in Hall B2, stand 338. The Fraunhofer IGB will also be there with topics such as hydroponics/bioponics, recovering recyclable materials from wastewater, water purification and pollutant removal with plasmas, trace substance removal as well as drying and torrefaction processes. The InBiRa insect biorefinery will also be presented at the trade fair.

Fraunhofer IGB and its branch in Leuna, Fraunhofer CBP, will once again be presenting their products and services at the joint stand of the Fraunhofer Chemistry Alliance. Our topics range from biobased products from residual and waste materials to the scaling and piloting of chemical and biotechnological processes for an accelerated market launch of green products and hydrophobic coatings as alternatives to PFAS. We look forward to seeing you in Hall 6, Stand D49!

Organized by the Fraunhofer Competence Field Additive Manufacturing, the DDMC is a bi-annual cutting-edge forum for discussion on Additive Manufacturing, including its application in industry and the environmental impact of such new manufacturing technologies. Impact on health, sustainability and society will also be discussed. DDMC brings together researchers, educators and practitioners from around the world and fosters an atmosphere conducive to developing new ideas and refining already existing research developments.
