Fraunhofer Direct Digital Manufacturing Conference (DDMC) organized by the Fraunhofer Competence Field Additive Manufacturing will take place from March 15–16, 2023 in Berlin

At the Urban Future conference, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector will present first projects funded within the Baden-Württemberg Sustainable Bioeconomy Strategy and invite you to join the cooperation network on urban bioeconomy coordinated by Fraunhofer IGB. Our goal: to achieve more climate protection and raw material security with a sustainable circular bioeconomy.

EFIB is Europe’s primary conference dedicated to the economic and green contribution to Europe from innovation and manufacture within industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy. Fraunhofer CBP will present its expertise in scaling processes along the entire bioeconomic value chain – from the raw material to the finished product. We are looking forward to your visit at booth #12.

Fraunhofer IGB will be represented within the Fraunhofer Competence Field Additive Manufacturing with its expertise in personalized implants through 3D bioprinting. We look forward to seeing you in Hall 11.0, Stand D31.

Meet Fraunhofer CBP an the Fraunhofer Chemistry Alliance at the GMS! We develop and scale up your new processes for the bioeconomy: From the fractionation of biomass such as lignocellulose or oilseeds, to chemical and biotechnological conversion processes, to the processing of products and the production of even larger quantities of materials.

The aim of this professional development programme is to provide introductory training and theory in algal biology, culturing, growth and biotechnology under laboratory and small scale pilot facilities. The course is hosted by Fraunhofer IGB (Dr. Schmid-Staiger), the University of Cambridge Algal Innovation Centre, Scottish Association for Marine Science und Matis.
